Principal's Summer Update

Dear Students, Parents and Teachers,

The summer is going very quickly, and soon we will be facing another school year. I hope you are all having a restful time. We will be facing a lot of challenging times during the coming year as we have faced in the past. As in the past I have no doubt about our ability to meet and conquer every challenge together.

There are three additions to the faculty for the upcoming school year. Mr Vergel will be returning. Welcome back Mr. Vergel. Mrs. Diosalma Melgar will be the guiadance counselor. She is a graduate of Greater New York Academy. Welcome back Mrs. Melgar. Also Mr. Arouhnca will be teaching in the math department. Welcome Mr. Arouhnca.

Advanced Placement English and Advanced Placement Spanish will be added to the curriculum for the new school year. These will be tought by Mrs. Nicoleau and Mr. vergel respectively.

I want to extend my congratulation to the Pattersons on the birth of their new baby boy. Also, thank you, Mr. Patterson for volunteering to supervise the August Regents Examinations on August 17 and 18, and testing of incoming Freshmen on August 19, 2004.

Enjoy the rest of the summer, and I look forward to seeing you to start the 2004-2005 school year.
