GNYA Teachers Take UFT Summer Courses/workshops

GNYA mathematics teacher Mrs. Danilla Lazarus' picture was recently featured in an article on professional development opportunities in the United Federation of Teachers' website. The UFT Teacher Center offers professional development opportunities and events to private school teachers through federal funding. GNYA teachers are encouraged to take advantage of such opportunities in additon to locally-funded ones in order to further their effectiveness in the classroom. more on the UFT article.
